Who am I? About Me

Few Words About Myself Nice to Meet You

I am Philippe Bourgeois, a self-taught photographer. There are many self-taught photographers and some of them are very famous. For example, Ansel Adams, one of the best American photographers (the Yosemite National Park). Or Guido Venitucci, a famous actor who also made it as a self-taught photographer. It is possible to be a pretty good photographer without a degree. So I also turned my hobby into my profession. And here in Finestrat (Alicante, Spain) the sceneries, the climate and the atmosphere make this the perfect location to surprise you with the most amazing pics, made with the most advanced material and the biggest passion.

I invite you to take a look at my photos and hope that you will enjoy my portfolio!

Through the lens, the world looks different and I would like to show you how much. As from the age of 10, I was passioned about photography, and as my grandfather shared that passion, he also shared his analogue camera. He showed me the ropes and after years of practice and tons of experience, I learned the techniques, which help me in my daily work.
Don’t we all want memories to be made and captured for life? Not only personal shoots, like family pics, newborns, communions, weddings, anniversaries, but also business related shoots, live events or food pics are my cup of tea.
So if you are curious about what I can do for you, just get in touch!

How does this happenPhoto Processing

I’d like to enlighten you with the wonders of photo processing. Sometimes you can’t see result without direct comparison. Therefore, I’ll show you the process of before and after photography.

Enhancing your photos: You took pictures but are not satisfied about the result? You can rely on me to enhance your photos so they are not lost.

Food photography. This is unquestionably one of the most challenging types of photography. Like painting, you start with a blank canvas and you start building. Layer upon layer, you construct the photo until you reach the perfect balance between reality and art.

This photo was taken on a hot day around 8 PM. As you can see the original was too dark, pretty much colourless, and not clear. With special technics I’ve changed the colours and turned it into, through my eyes, a beautiful capture of a lovely moment.
